Nina Stemme is awarded the rank of Commander 1st Class of the Royal Order of Vasa for her outstanding achievements as opera singer.
The Royal Order of Vasa (Kungliga Vasaorden) is a Swedish order of chivalry founded 1772 by King Gustav III. It is awarded to Swedish citizens for service to state and society.
